I was hired as Trivascular’s first full-time senior designer in 2014 and convinced the Executive Management Team that a refresh of the entire brand was needed. This consisted of applying a new color palette, a new corporate typeface, and a slight tweak of the logo which the company wanted to keep. Most importantly, I commissioned new detailed medical illustrations to replace an abundance of x-ray type imagery they were currently using, making it easier for customers to understand how Trivascular’s unique aortic stent worked and differed from those made by competitors. I also redesigned Trivascular’s corporate website, and its website for medical professionals that showcased clinical studies, podium lectures, videos and other educational materials about its devices.
